The BBIT General Fund supports administrative and programmatic needs such as supplies, equipment, transportation, and staffing required to deliver our services.

One of the main barriers to Black adolescent involvement in STEM programs is the costs associated with participation (tuition, fees, transportation, etc.). BBIT seeks to lessen the financial burden of pursing STEM by providing financial support for STEM programming, tech certification programs, and higher education.

Through Mission ‘26, BBIT will expose and prepare 2,026 Black male students to the field of Technology by the year 2026 and allocate 26 scholarships to Black male students pursuing short-term technology education and training. Mission ’26 will be implemented through the following focus areas: STEM Learning, Career Development, and Empowerment.

The Black Male STEM educator (BMSE) Fund provides financial support for Black men seeking to become a licensed educator. This fund covers, in full or in-part, the costs associated with the licensure process (i.e., study materials, certification exams, professional development, educator supplies, etc.)
